Good alternatives to Sony MDR-EX71

I love the sound and feel of these earphones. I'm on my second pair and neither have lasted more than two months because of the melt-away rubber.

Any suggestions for headphones in a similar price range?

I dig the neck chain style too.

The Panasonic HJE-50's are a good alternative... feels just as comfortable and has less boomy bass than the Sony's.. and the cord isn't cr*p either..
