If I were to buy a pair, and say it somehow breaks...will Shure send me a new pair if I send them the broken one?
Say it blows out, or in someway doesn't function normally anymore.

yes. so far from what I have heard is that all the repair are a new pair getting returned.
In other words, you can probably get a broken one from ebay, and ......

That sounds like a good way to cause Shure to tighten up their customer service practices, which would be bad.
For anyone considering such tactics, don't be an ####### and ruin it for legitimate customers.
