Hi!
I am buying a pair of Shure E3c's off someone, but without the triflange tips.
Are they worth buying? Are they more comfortable than the other tips and do you wear them?
Thanks!

They're probably the least used of them all, but every ear and preference is different, so you really have to try for yourself!

It took me a while to get used to them, but now I think the triflange eartips are the best for listening to music with my Etymotics ER-4 earphones.
They provide outstanding isolation. And, they are comfortable when properly inserted into the ear canal. It does take a while to learn how to properly place them into the ear canal, though.

Definitely try the triflange tips. In my opinion, they're the best tips for the E3c. Sound quality and isolation almost equal to the foamies (which I think has the best of both), but durability and ease of use equal to the silicone tips.
Handy tip... instead of buying the Shure triflanges, buy the Ety ER-4 triflanges instead. They're cheaper (package of 3 sets) and have a shorter stem (you'll have to cut the Shures). They E3c and ER-4 have the same size bore.

Cool. I think I'll buy the ER-4 triflange tips when I get the phones. Thanks for the recommendations.
