Don't use orange on blue. Maybe Orange on Black.

thats what i was thinking but I also considered a light whitish blue for xmas, but w/e I want to make a new nicer one on Photoshop CS (are there any beter siggy makers?)

put a shadow on the text, white or black, so that it stands out more. and round the corners.

Hmmm... The text is too dark, too hard to see. A light font, or even better, a slightly lighter background perhaps...
