has anyone else notice the fact that a well placed smack to the head will lodge the er4ps permanantly into your brain? didn't etymotic find this design a little dangerous?

Naa, if something was to push them in with a force it doesn't look like they'll go that far. Don't think i've ever seen someone post a thread about an Etymotic ER-4P being lodge in their brain.

ONCE I WAS SITTING AND THEN MY SHURES THEY LOOK AT ME AND THEN THEY BITE ME AND I CRY :(
Just kidding, but yeah i thought about that at first with the Er4Ps, but they are not long enough (and not thin enough with the tips on) to do any danger to ya. (well at least not pierceing your brain.)

yea i kno, i just wanted a reason to return them for the Shure e5c...
It sounded great with classical music but it was so physically repulsive...
and the headphones didn't reallly stay in the ear very good, unlike shure headphones. Well at least the e2cs stayed in my ears very well.
