Anyone else have this issue with 30GB Photo?

If I don't use my 30GB iPod Photo for several (3-4) days, it forgets it has any songs in it. The memory is still full, but the menu shows zero songs. Resetting does nothing. But when I connect the iPod to a Mac - any Mac, not just mine, so long as it has iTunes on it - bingo, the iPod is fixed. There is no message on the Mac or iPod screen. No updating takes place. Nothing, except all the songs are back where they should be. What is going on here?

I just bought the new G5 30 GB, I haven't had the problem you are desribing yet(?) But I did notice that I turned in on to play and the Songs were Dragging Badly like a cassette! But Once I plugged it back in to Itunes, it updated and started playing normal again.

No I don't have problems with my 4G 30GB. You might need to restore yours, it will erase all of your music.

Goto www.apple.com/ipod/download Download that then restore your ipod.

Nickster, I didn't have a single Problem with my G4 30 GB. That was until it got ripped off 4 weeks ago! :mad:
