I meant to post in this forum first. But anyway I put my 5g ipod ishield (invisible shield) on today and got water in my ipod. it must of ran in throught the click. I'm trying to let it dry now on a warm surface. I couldn't find instructions for opening it. and i've never changed any of the batteries in my other ipods this is my 6th including a shuffle if u do. I haven't tried turning it on yet. i'll wait to see if i get out the water. I'll let you guys know. I was skeptical of the process putting water on the ipod with that many seems. I guess go with your gut fellings would be in line here. I haven't had achance to contact invisible shield yet as it happened maybe an hour ago.

When they said wash, you remove the cover, then wash it. Also they say its washable, but they don't recommend doing it (stupid huh?). They say use scotch tape to take off the dust or whatnot on the cover.

did you dunk in the ipod like it was a donnut in coffee. sorry if that was harsh but really how much water did you put on the shield. i put my IS in 30 minutes back and front , i put the IS in the water and let it drip off the execes water. good luck in trying to get the water back out of the screen, if it does get out completly, call apple and tell them the ipod did not work when it came to you.
