Hey folks,
I'm not currently an owner of a 5G iPod, but I intend to be within the coming weeks. I actually bought a 4G colour iPod on September 25th, and well, when October 12th rolled around, you can guess what happened ;) .

Anyhoo, I was wondering if there are any current 5G iPod owners out there who also own one of the past Sumo cases. If so, I was wondering if your new iPod still fits snug in the case, or if it's loose due to the reduced thickness. I guess this would apply more to the slip cases as the cutouts on the flap cases would have to be changed for the new iPods.

I'm trying to gather all the accessories before the iPods themselves become available in Canada. I've already ordered the Martin Field screen protector and a set of Sony MDR EX81s, so I'm looking to complete the package! :p

Any input would be appreciated

I have the leather Sumo case and my 30G is loose for sure, but the ipod is completely enclosed so it's no big deal for now. Sumo cases also have the strongest belt clips i have seen in Ipod cases so you don't have to worry about it falling off your belt. Some Sumo cases are open at the top, but if you get one that closes over the top you will be fine.

Cool.

I know that Sumo is making new Playthru cases for the new 5G, but I wonder if they intend to make new slip and flap cases. I'd really like for the new iPod to fit snug. I guess I'll just have to wait and see!

Hey Don,
Regarding the leather flap case you have... it is possible to use the current cutouts designed for the 4G with your 5G? Or does the flap close too tightly to allow bending of your earphone wire?
