Cear Protective Shields

I'm not sure which forum to place this in, but this is my best guess. With all of the new Invisible Shields, Martin Feilds, and iDiddy clear protectors, is there some way that either a staff member here at iLounge can test out the competition? I'd like to buy one, but I don't want to waiste money obviously. It would be great help.

Or, if anyone has pictures of their iPod covered by one of the shields, please post them here so theres one central thread to debate which is best. Thank you.

i bought a generic (by generic i mean not name brand) pack of pda protectors from best buy. 12 for $15. applied perfectly over entire front, i can't tell there's anything on it. plus i got 11 more when the film gets dirty or old. forget the overpriced other options..

hey, i saw these at best buy the other night.

does it feel like the protectors will stay on there for longer than a month? i was thinking about getting the pack, but after it said "replace monthly" decided it would be too much of a hassle.

was there ever such a thing as a clear silcone case (for previous models)? cuz I'd buy one for the 5G if it ever came out.

I think I am just going to go with the iCondom again. I have it on my 4G b/w it has been on it for over a year and I have no complaints. It suits my purpose and the price is right. I know on the front it only covers the screen but that is the only thing I am worried about. They said they will have 5G sizes on Ebay in 1 or 2 days.

yeh, they look like they will stay on for as long as i need it there. i can't even tell its there really. either way, id rather put a fresh protector on every couple months to keep a clean look. to me, its a benefit getting 12 as opposed to only 1.

make sure you buy a boxcutter razor if you don't have one. it will help a lot with the grid cutting.

yeah i'd like to see one as well. it seems like the trend here lately has been the fad with clear skins. i for one because of my black ipod and nano.
