ipod to camera-photos not recognised

hello,i just got a connector to plug my camera's usb cable into the ipod(60g photo)-first i'm told that there's no memory card,and then when the screen comes up to import photos,no photos are recognised.
anyone else had this?

There's a list somewhere of the supported cameras. I've had no problem with my Canon Ixus 500 and a 4Gcol60GB iPod. If I find the list later I'll post it.

i have a sony dsc-p1 which isnt on your list but i looked up on google and it should be ok-am downloading new usb driver-maybe that'll help???
