View Full Version : questions about order from Lajo
I'm looking at this site for skins for my 30GB iPod.
I only see 6 colors to choose from:
ice, snow, frost, frogger, indiglo, and hothouse.
Whereas on iskinworld.com, I can find every available color.
Am I missing something?
You guys prefer a vendor over the manufacturer...or just go for what you need/want?

I believe Lajo and iSkin have a partnership, and Lajo is the actual manufacturer. I could be wrong, but anyway...
All of the colors are available on Lajo's site, but his design is not very intuitive. You must click on Express and then "By color Group" in the main graphic in order to see the order form. Once you input the quantites that you want and click submit, it will look like nothing happened; but actually your order has been added to your cart (look in the upper right). Some people have had problems with that; I made the same mistake. Lajo is a great designer and great at customer service, but I'm going to be blunt and say that the web site is very bad. It is difficult to navigate, uses a non-intuitive ordering system, and does not showcase Lajo's great products to their full potential.
Another place with a GREAT website that sells Lajo's products is http://www.theistore.com. EDIT: I had the wrong web site in here at first :D

Hmm...I just did it, it worked fine for me.
I assume you didn't actually type: "1 black pearl". Because if you actually entered those words that could be your problem :D. Use the first drop-down to select the color you want, the second to select your size, and then enter "1" in the final box and then add it to your cart.

I have made it even easier for ipodloungers to get the special 2 for $30 Lajo deal at www.theistore.com : You don 't need to use the voucher code at all. Order one for $22 or order 2 and the cart will automatically give you the discount.

Your going to like TheiStore.com, it is an incredible site to view all of the eXo colors. This site is a mirror of Michael's soul a true artist. Great work Michael.

Michael--
Firebird is an alternative browser. Actually called Mozilla Firebird, it is becoming an increasingly popular choice, particularly among the tech crowd. It has tabbed browsing, integrated popup control, skinning, and from what I've seen is fairly fast. I personally stick with IE (or actually Avant, which is the IE engine with all the goodies I mentioned above) because I need .NET compatibility for my work. However, Firebird has it's merits, and as I said, is getting more popular.

Haha, that happened to me, I entered "1" on my options and nothing happened, so I did it again, nothing happened...
By the time I found my shopping cart I had ordered a bunch of stuff
I just closed it and started over. If I get 16 cases I'll give 'em away and have Lajo pay my rent. :D

Thanks for the link mrogers, I'll check it out. dinojr sent me a screen capture of what the site www.theistore.com looks like on Firebird (not nearly as nice as in IE or Safari) Seems like the problem is the javascripts , which runs the color changing features and the roll overs . In the future I will need to have different versions of the site and a script that can detect the type of browser.
One thing at a time, but I will get there. I will download it and see what I can do, as soon as I get a free moment. Things are very busy with the promotion.
