Is there a program out there that will let me crop the video? What I mean by crop is... some videos Ive got are in 4:3 aspect ratio but the video is really 16:9 ratio, how can I crop out the black and make it an actual 16:9 video?

Gordian Knot can even Auto-Crop the videos!
GK creates .avi - files
Nero Recode could also do so....
Nero Recode creates .mp4-files
