.wma files are audio. Do you possibly mean .wmv?
If you are sure you meant .wma, you can import them into iTunes which can convert them into the format of your choice, including MP3, Apple Lossless, and AAC.

Try Flip4Mac - WMA. It allows you to open, play and convert Windows Media Videos using the QuickTime player. You'll need WMV Player Pro and QuickTime Pro. Here's the link: http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv.htm

Check http://www.versiontracker.com for some software. You may be able to find some freeware but most likely will have to pay for the software so look for a free trial offer.
