PSP Vids on iPod?

I hope this is the right place for this, I'm new here.

Anyways, I have lots of shows already converted in .mp4 for PSP and I was wondering if these will work on the new iPod?

And if they don't work with the new iPod can I convert those PSP .mp4 into something that will work on the iPod and if so how?

Standard MP4 videos will work but not AVC.
