I apologize in advance if this has been answered, but I looked around for a bit and didn't see it mentioned.

Can you upload videos that are a higher res than the iPod screen in order to play on an external display? For instance, upload a movie at, say, 640x480 and hook the iPod up to a television and play it on that.

If not, how bad is the artifacting and pixellation of 320x240 video when played on a television? Are there any screenshots of an iPod playing through TV out?
