View Full Version : Question to Lajo? Kind Of...
I was wondering if you maybe had plans for making iScreens for the wheel and buttons? (Like just 1 long sheet of that stuff for the screen now.) I was thinking about making one from one of those zipper cases that came with the skins... :\ I don't know..
Any ideas? Most of the Window Films I've seen in hardware stores, are big sheets, that I don't need, they don't have like a 4 inch one :( hehe,

The iShades are over 2-3 millimeters thick, which simply wouldn't allow you to have any real controls. What you are thinking of is more along the lines of the Maclear Zip. At least something using this TPU or similar material. Lajo should be able to provide you with better information, I'm just a happy eXo owner now enjoying it every day with my 3G iPod at work! ;)
Yeah, I was kind of thinking of a new kind of iShade, mentioning the case that came with the exo skins. (It's a maclear case). I might just cut one up to fit it in there, or just put the iPod in the case :p (A little hard to touch the buttons if it's in the case though.)
There are some surprises coming up for Novemember

suprises big enough for me to hold off on buying an iskin??:D
Xskn will lead to a new concept in case design and as an artist it will allow me to go beyond the color of the case. Hold off? I think people will buy both.

if youre building function into design now lajo, how about a thinner top part of the case so that an itrip can be used with the case on?
iTrip came after the eXo and Xskn molds were completed, I still have to get an iTrip to see how it can be done.

what i was actually going to do was if/when i got one, i was just going to cut a slit down the seam of the top and that would hopefully be enough space for the itrip plus i could slide the ipod in through that slit so it would serve two functions and shouldnt have too much negative affect on the structure of the iskin.
Could you also make the case a little bigger? Because some headphone ends aren't just straight up, they are bent you know? Like mine, so if I try to close the zippers around the headphone jack it pops the headphone thing out.

A little but down the page, you see some wires... The one on the far left is the shape of my headphone end where it's bent. That's what I'm talking about :p

OOOHHHH, new stuff from Lajo... I guess it's time to start saving money! ;)
Should I cut up my maclear case to make a 'film' to cover the ipod parts? Or should i wait? If I wait then it could get dirty and stuff... I dunno?

i did that.. it works great.
but i dont use it all the time cause it feels stickier.
Let me know which are the popular head phones and I will try to buy them in Hong Kong and make some cases for you. Also I will see if I can pick up an iTrip.
Well my headphones are a Sony one:

That's what they are. But no need to to go and buy them, just look at that end part where it connects to the jack, it's not straight like the iPod ones - Here a picture:

They have knock offs here in China so I will buy those to get the size. Sony has really come up with a cool design.
Yeah, I like them, except that it has this cord that connects the 2 pieces. So you have to wrap that around your neck, but since I have long hair, it's annoying I just put them on and let that cord dangle in front :p
