i emailed iskin this morning to see if they had plans for the ipod video.

here was thier reply.

iskin is not only solution for you. probably several companies will release the case soon.

and why are they better than the $1.50 ones at walmart made of silicone?

well im going to try to keep it in its plastic little thingy it comes in until one comes out. or whatever case the ipod comes in. or i might buy some of those socks....

wrap it in sarin wrap until then...lol, or put it in a ziplock bag XD

edit: and it comes with a case (albeit, not very functional since you can't acess it when it's in the case..) but it's better than nothing

maybe they will release it sooner.
or i might find another ipod case that i will like.

hopefully some cases will come out soon. even if i get my Video iPod right now... i dont even plan to take it out of the box until i get a case for it.

You could always use the (cheap) case Apple gives you with the new 5th generation until iSkin releases their new case.

isnt it possible to just use one of the $1.50 silicone cases walmart sells for 4gs? as a very temporary solution

does anyone have proof that they come with a bundled case? i could not see anything about it on the "whats in the box" section on the apple website.

european customers AFAICS dont get the case or the adapter cable included.
