5g ipod cases? [Archive] - iLounge Forums

yeah, yeah, there were just released two days ago, i know, i know.
i was, however, surprised that apple didn't release any cases on the same day like they did with the nano and the shuffle. especially after the complaints they've been getting with the new housings. ebay had thin silicone nano cases days after it was announced. has anyone found any for the 5g 30gb ipods yet? or perhaps the invisishield?
according to the tracking number apple gave me, my ipod should be here tuesday. i've had cases for all my other ipods and would rather not start scratching this one.

yea the ipod comes with a case but its just a pouch still good for the time being and plus im going to buy a psp hori screen protector thats only 5bux and is the best screen protector out

YES!! It's good to see another fellow iPod'er that uses Hori's PSP screen protector! It has been (by far) the best screen protector I've stumbled upon. Really a true spectacle that must be seen in person in order to fathom how great it works. Highly recommended. Give it a try (as it's only $5)

well it says that the new ipod comes with a case, probably because apple doesn't want people scratching it up.

The "case" is a glorified slip cover that won't even so much as let you see a millimeter of the screen when it's in it.

They're trying to prevent another nano snafu, but they're not trying very hard.

Yup, I just placed the full PSP sized screen protector over the iPod's screen, marked where the edge of the iPod's screen, then cut it out w/scissors. Easy as 1-2-3.
