I just ordered a new 30GB iPod Video and the invisibleshield for it. After reading the reviews on the shield, im a little worried about distorting the image cause I'm probably gonna watch some TV shows on the iPod. Could anyone with the shield tell me if the image is distorted enough by the shield to make the shows unwatchable? Thx for any help in advance.

All the reviews I've read say there is zero loss in clarity. Like this one here (http://www.rainydaymagazine.com/RDM2005/GearNGadgets/September2005/RDMGG_InvisibleShieldFirstLook.htm)

Yep, I've ordered one with my video too. Should be good. What kind of shipping did you get with your iPod and shield, george?

Before I confirm my order, I'm asking them whether they offer the clickwheel cutout option. Apparently this is much better than the non-cutout one for the nano.
Also, according Rainy Day, it seems that the nano cutout model is much smoother than the previous version
I dunno what I'm gonna do cos my black 5G ipod *should* be arriving on the 24th and I won't have a protective skin by then

No idea, all I heard was that is actually gave you MORE traction when using the wheel.

It provided more traction - but due to the tightness of the fit, there wasn't much of a click when you pressed each button.
Additionally, the air bubbles created from the displacement of the wheel may loosen the fit of the skin?
I really hope there is gonna be a cutout option

I have the shield for my nano. I love it,but there is a little bit of distortion on it's screen. I've read other reviews calling it pixalation. It isn't too bad at all on the nano, but it would bother me more if I was watching a show I think. I haven't decided if it's worth the slight loss in clarity for my video ipod yet. It really is great at protecting it though

Slight loss in clarity + no scratches > scratches (HUGE loss in clarity)
Just ordered mine! :)
before it arrives I am leaving the front protective film on...

am i the only one that suspect that this invisibleSHIELD is nothing but a pre-cut (and glorified...esp. in these forums) version of 3M Scotchgard...?
both are clear...both are 8mil thick....both are super strong...(scotchgard is to resist rock chips on cars moving 60++mph!)...
i doubt your ipod's gonna be flying much faster than 60mph.
$25 for ipod video cover...?
i just found a 18"x3' (three FEET long!!!) 3M scotchgard sheet on ebay for $25 shipped.
and you'd have enough till armageddon.
i know i know.....
your argument is, "i'm not talented...if i cut it myself, it'll look poo-diddy..."
well, with little bit of talent, brainpower, patience, care, and the right tools, i bet you can make it work, and look the same as invisibleSHIELD....
look...ima order my 3M scotchgard, you guys gimme a holler if you need some made....i'll charge you much less than that invisicrap...
This might be a newbie question, but when it says Full Body wrap, does it mean that it covers the back as well? I looked at the nano installation guide at rainydaymagazine.
But it didn't show them putting anything on the back. This seems kind of pointless if the back is left unprotected. Can anyone shed some light on this?
edit: Also, are these removeable?

Back IS protected.
