yea, i dunno what happening i just got me ipod on saturday, but now every time i try to play a song, it keeps switching and goes up the list, without plying songs, until the list ends and then goes back to the main menu.

i've tried resetting ipod, do i have to restore?

this happened right after i downloded GOPOD for my ipod to make volume better.

I don't seem to understand your problem, but perhaps a restore will solve your issue.

Download the iPod updater from Apple's site (in the support section), and click on restore.

for example, if i wanna play the first song in my ac/dc list, then it jut skips to 2nd, song, then 3rd song and so on until it reaches end of list, then goes back to main menu.

Try a restore see if it works normally then, then re-intsall GOPOD, if it breaks you no it GOPOD.

What the hell is GOPOD?

Wait a minute, asking google...

OK. It is to remove the EU volume cap. What music format are you using (mp3, aac, apple lossless, etc.) and what program did you use to rip those songs? GOPOD might have messed up your iPod but I doubt it. It sounds like there is a problem with the songs on your iPod. My iPod did this for some songs in which the encoding process did not go correctly (ie a mp3 should have taken up 5.4 MB but the encoding process ended too soon and the song took up 5.35MB).

Just some more questions:
Did the songs play before you installed GOPOD?

I would restore your iPod, copy the songs over to it, then see if they play without GOPOD installed. If they play, then your music is in the correct format and everything is tagged correctly. Then try installing GOPOD. If the problem comes back then GOPOD is the reason why your iPod is not working.
