OK, the apple discussion boards are no help yet. Maybe the experts here can make it happen.
Installed new burner (benQ) nearly 3 weeks ago.
Upgraded to itunes 5 week later.
Tried to burn with itunes....no burner or software found...
itunes burning tab shows...Lite-on 52246S ( old burner)
Uninstall itunes...reinstall itunes....no hope.
read the notes on apple board about cfg file in itunes.
Added Benq to list....deleted Lite-on from list.
try deleting every drive but Benq still shows Lite-on
Searched registry for lite-on deleted lines....no go...
Reinstalled-repaired--reinstalled on new drive...
Still shows Lite-on that is NOT on the machine anymore.
Itunes will play and import from drive...no burn.
Cddiag show.

Any suggestions....
Burning works fine with Nero 6. Drive works fine with all other applications. Only problem appears to be itunes keeps referencing old Lite-on burner that is not in machine.
Help....any ideas...
