Sorry if this has been asked/answered before, but I have a 60gb ipod, and I just reinstalled windows xp home and itunes because of a new motherboard in my computer. I'm storing my itunes music files on an external hard drive. I need to know how to 'restore' my playlists and ratings to my new installation of itunes. I have not connected my ipod to my computer since reinstalling windows, and I'm afraid that if I do, my music will be deleted from the ipod along with the old playlists/ratings. I can use my external hard drive to simply copy the music over again, but what about the playlists/ratings? Thanks!
