I bought a black nano 4g and while windows recognizes it as a hard drive, iTunes does not recognize it.
The configuration leaves me wondering what to do!
I already have an ipod photo on the same computer, and I'm successfully using iTunes 5.01
I created a 2nd XP user account for the Nano.
I login as the 2nd XP user, install the Nano drivers from the CD, restart, set up iTunes with manual syncI restart.. And again.
Nano doesn't show up in iTunes. It only shows up as a hard drive.
I would really love to avoid the madness of downgrading to iTunes 4.x -- as I slaved, and slaved to get 5.01 working properly with the iPod Photo!
How to get the Nano to show up in that 2nd account?
Windows XP says "there's a problem with the USB device.. blah blah."
THANKS!
