ok well i have a 20 GB 4G colour ipod and a 1 GB ipod shuffle, and i noticed that there is a new ipod update for the shuffle, so i went to the ipod site and downloaded the windows version (i have windows xp pro) and its gives me the update 2005-02-22 instead of 2005-09-23, can anyone help me?

Did you double check under start>all programs>iPod>and look to make sure which updaters you have? Sorry but I'm on a Mac right now and haven't hooked up my windows PC.

ya, i wanted the new one because my old one seems to be broken ( its says something like " instilization error") but every time i try to get the new one i get the wrong one!
