I have been using the websight www.allmusic.com to help me find new music. It has everything. It gives accurate genres and styles. Just take a look if you havent already.

What I am suprised at is that it has not used its database to help us tag our mp3's nor detect cd's. It has far more accurate information (probaly more extensive) than cddb and accurate "tones" for many artists to far surpass moodlogic.

Is anybody suprised that they have not done this like I am?

They could get away with charging, I would pay, especially as you are assured accurate information.

Yeah, that is a great site. There are a few programs that make use of this site for tagging, but the system isn't perfect. I wish Allmusic.com came up with a streaming info. database like the ones you're talking about. That would annhilate all of the current CDDB programs.

Yes, indeed. :)

AMG (All Music Guide - www.allmusic.com) has been my number one favorite site for all things music related for a while now. It is a great source of information on artists I already know about, and I also use it to discover artists I am unfamiliar with by exploring the "Related Artists" listed under artists I already know and like.

Best music site on the Web IMHO. I too wish iTunes could use AMG instead of CDDB due to AMG's superior accuracy.
