Somehow, part of one song got written into the middle of another song's file. The song will be playing normally, switch to the transposed song for a couple of seconds, then go back and finish the original song. I'm not sure how many songs have this problem, so far I've only come across one.
I haven't defragged the drive with the affected file, so that's not the cause. Anyone have a clue as to what the cause might be?
Some of my songs also seem to be deteriorating in quality, developing annoying clicks, pops, noise and fallouts, though they still play. Is this due to minor file corruption and if so, what are the causes and preventative measures?
