Okay. I have read numberous threads on here about computers not recognizing IPods. But I am a n00b and didn't understand some of the lingo.
So, here is my problem;
My computer just neglects my IPod completely! I have the original U2 version, and when I plug it into the computer through the USB, it says it is charging. But it won't let me update it at all. However, when I connect my friends IPod to it, it reads it and everything.
So, I downloaded the IPod Update thingy. It didn't do anything. I tried to reformat my IPod, which to my understanding, I do that by inserting the disk and basically re-installing. But since it won't read the IPod, I can't get it past the point where it says 'plug in IPod'.
So I am dying here. I NEED MY MUSIC.
Please help? In lamest terms possible, please?
