Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. went to a leather shop yesterday and grabbed a 1'x1' piece of leather, some waxed thread and needles, hole puncher, came home, and got to work. this was the result.

am i satisfied? i guess. i have never worked with leather before, let alone hand stiched anything. the molding process was kind of annoying. had to use 6 Bic pens taped together to pseudo-simulate a Nano. the tape ended up ripping out the liner i had used. so effectively, the case is useless to me (the rivet holding the belt clip on sticks out a bit inside the case, which is why i had the liner). my seams appear to be a little loose, as well, which i guess is a result of the leather shrinking/ drying (soaked it in water to mold it). c'est la vie.

attempt numbe 2 will come tomorrow. going to use a thinner leather in front, hoping to get a tighter, more exact fit. the leather i used this time around is about 3mm thick. gonna use some 2mm stuff next time. also going to use a metal ruler so i get straighter cuts.
