scion xb ipod problems

Hi. i currently am driving a new 2006 scion xb with the incar ipod attachement. I have only had the car for a month, but i already have had to send back an ipod and now and ipod mini because of the incar hookup. Has anyone had these problems or heard of them? If so, what can i do about it (besides using and itrip or similiar thing)?

well the first ipod got a folder/! error one day when i disconnected it and the ipod mini simply went dead.
