I am seriously considering moving to one of these in-car solutions from my currently used Sik Imp setup. Sound is fine, but the wires are a drag. Does anyone use either of these, and if so, would you buy it again? TIA.

No one is using one of these things? No one?

I'd love to hear some opinions, as well.

Well, I just pulled the trigger on the Transpod Direct Black. I'll report back in detail when I've finally put it through its paces. Stay tuned....

Feel free to email me if you don't hear back from me in a couple of weeks. I'm in the middle of a possible job change, so I'm a bit distracted right now.

I saw a white one just this past weekend. It looks like a tinker toy experiment that only a civil engineer would love (big honking plastic pipes/geared elbow joints/etc. Not very subtle.

Yeah, I think that's the setup if you use the extension arm it comes with. I'm hoping I won't need it, but we shall see.....

I have the black Transpod Direct, and it's working pretty well for me. The adjustable arms are a little clunky looking, but the black one blends in with the rest of the car and I don't notice it very much--I think it looks good, overall.

I am thinking about purchasing the DLO Transpod Direct to use in my Ford Focus
I have a Sony headset with a standard auxilary input port (3.5 mm, I think), located in the glove box. Does anyone know if the this will be compatible with the the Transpod? i.e. will I be able to connect the Transpod cradle directly to this input port?

Any advice would be appreciated.
