I was wondering if anyone that bought one of the NewerTechnology RoadTrip!+ FM transmitters has taken it apart? Reason I ask is I would like to disable the Pod charging part of it. I originally didn't think it would be an issue, but one Pod replacement later, I'm chancing killing another battery. The transmitter part of it works really well for me though, so I figure it's worth a shot.
I took mine apart to find two red wires, two white wires, one black, one green & ,finally, one blue. I can't begin to guess which i need to cut to disable the charging or if it's even possible for that matter. I probably need to post a picture, but based on some other posts I've read, my guess is that I'm not the first to tear one of these apart.
