View Full Version : Clear white Case Really Clear z?

Hey guys. I was going to purchase a particular case by a company called z....you can fill in the rest, trying to tread softly here. My question in particular is they have a case called 'original ice clear' which is just translucent silicone. I have a 4gb black nano, do you think this translucent case will look good with a black nano? Or will the black just look dull wrapped in silicone? I ask because if it's just going to look dull and look like nothing special i'll just get a black silicone case or a glow in the dark one (which is kinda interesting as well).
I sent them an email but no response as of yet. If anyone has any ideas or has ever owned a translucent case and put anything besides a white ipod in it, how does it look??? I need a case asap im scared to take my nano out of the plastic and dont see many other offerings out there as of yet. Thanks guys...

I asked them and they replied: zCover cases are transparent. zCover fashionable cases are crafted from food grade, non-toxic, durable high-grade silicone rubber.
I'll be getting one soon, they look awesome. Theres in fact 2 cases. 1 normal case, and one with a lanyard attachement.

I've just bought one too. Two cases thrown in for the price is not bad. Now just the waiting for delivery from Canada.
I'm in canada so i'll be getting it fast :) How much was shipping ?

anywho, does anyone know how zCover ships? i had some stuff mailed from Prince George, BC to Texas and it was a pain in the rear. they didn't use Canada Post, it was some courier service i had never heard of. reminded me of an oil filter....Purolator, maybe?

It was $13.40 insured in 7-12 days to get to Europe. It's about reasonable compared to most stuff I have sent from abroad give or take a few dollars.

So does anyone actually have this or know if a translucent case on a black ipod would look good? Or dull? Im debating over clear case, or just some glow in the dark/black one?? When I think of this rubber I imagine the thicker it is, the less black will look sharp. (thinking of bathtub caulking) :)

has anyone got one of those zCvers yet. What do u think of them
also, the one with the lanyard on (strap around neck), can you still connect the headphones when using the lanyard case as well as th open bottom case

Well I just changed my order for the Ice Clear, to a regular black case. I saw the ice clear (dont know if I can post a url?).
Go to zcverss website, scroll down and click on echo, then original, and you will see a picture of a clear case. You can then click on it and get different views of it. You can barely tell you have an awesome black nano back their, just looks like a cheap silicone. So i'll just take a plain black case then....
