Hello Everyone,
I have searched and read countless problems about the iPod and finally decided to post my own topic as my problem seems a little bit odd. Basically the iPod won't add any of the music that I have purchased from the Music Store onto the iPod, nor will it display album artwork. The iPod is fairly new, it is the 60GB Color. So far I have deauthorized the computer and then re-authorized it which did nothing. I have attempted to restore it but the iPod Updater will not recognize that the iPod is plugged in. I have reset it countless times. Nothing seemed to be helping, so I took it to the Apple Store Genius Bar (not to mention calling Apple 4 times with little to no help from tech support) and as soon as it was plugged in to their computer it was recognized in the iPod Updater, restored, and tested with album artwork and purchased music all which worked at the store. I bring it home excited to see if it would work now that it was restored and updated and was extremely disapointed to see no album artwork, no purchased music and the iPod updater still not recognizing that the thing is connected. Is it my machine (Dual 1.8 G5)? I'm running OS X 10.3.9 (haven't upgraded to Tiger yet), could that be the problem? I have the latest version of iTunes.
Does anybody have any ideas before I re-format this computer and/or chuck my iPod out the window?
Thanks,
Quinn
