Ok, got a new 10 gig G3 iopod :) but since I didn't get a case with it I slid it in my pocket with some change and it scratched the heck out of it:eek: , so I took the change out and put it back in mu pocket and more scratches. Are the covers this fragial? Why does it keep on scratching and how can I get them out?
The back scratches very easily, just like any highly polished metal, especially stainless steel. You might try a metal polisher, such as Brasso or 'Never Dull'. I'm not sure what you could use for the plastic part. I keep mine in a clear poly wrap-style case all the time. The only time I have to open it is if I want to use the scroll wheel..which I don't do very often. I'm generally content to allow it to randomly play songs. The poly case does keep it from being scratched at all though.

it's the Clear plastic that scartched like the window area and the front edge. not the silver back that is still flawless.
