A friend was nice enough to buy me an FM transmitter. Too bad she bought it in Japan. They aparently have a slightly different FM band than the rest of the world. :)
So, I was wondering if there are any radio-savy people here that can hint at how simple / impossible it would be to shift the range of this transmitter (Monster iCarPlay)? Since they make both japanese and american versions of this product I was hoping that the (digital?) tuner on it could be replaced and soldered back on.
And before you ask why I don't just go out and buy a suitable replacement... I live in a country where these things are not exactly legal (yet). I would have to fly to the US (or somewhere similar) to buy one.
I'd appreciate any advice.
