Hi!
I hope you can help somebody....please???

OK, I have a lot of mp3 on my PC copied in from original CDS!

A lot of tracks are not named. I don't have the original CDs becasue I sold my collection.
THis was before itunes could name them automatically.
Is there any software available that will enable me to retro name these tracks?

The music is arranged into albums neatly but the tracks say one, two, etc.
I could type them all in but I am very lazy!!!

Any ideas folks???

Cheers

If the songs lack any significant info in their file names or ID tags, then you will have to type them in yourself. If you have songs named correctly then you can download software to tag the track from its file name. For example: I have this track by TRUSTcompany called "Downfall" If I named this track 01.mp3 then I would have to type in the information manually. If I named the track TRUSTcompany - Downfall.mp3 then I could download Tag&Rename and set the software to look up the tag information off the internet using the file name.

I highly recomend just going to www.cdnow.com and looking up all the CD's you have then manually typing in the tags for the songs. You could always re-rip your music as well.
