Aux jack on 2005 Honda Civic

hello all, i'm new to the ipod, and right off the bat, have a question.

i have a 2005 honda civic with the optional 6 disk changer. it has an aux input jack on the face, so i figured i could plug in with a dual 3.5 cable to the ipod. it worked, kinda. only the left speakers work. how do i get sound to all of my speakers???

You used a mono 3.5mm cable. You need to get a stereo 3.5mm cable.

So it is the same type of cable, just stereo? Would the electronics store I got this cable at probably carry that too? Or my local stereo shop? Sorry, I am electronically impaired!

You can get it at walmart for like $5 (made by Belkin) or just go to your local Radio Shack.

mono jack just has two segments on the plug. Stereo has 3 segments.
