i need help with my kenwood ipod connection

I just got the kenwood ipod connector put in my car today and I was told that I would be able to browse it just like I do my ipod but I can't seem to be able to. All that I can scroll through are numbers 1-80 and that doesn't really tell me anything. I need help or would love to be directed to where I can find help. Thanks

The best solution I've found is to organize with playlists. You can then go through the playlists. as they will be numbered. The Library also counts as a playlist.
