I know the iPod Tube covers the iPod, but how about the actual screen, does it cover that too? And if so, is it a think cover...or just some think lame vinyl? Any info would be greatly appericated. Spanks!

The answer is found in the recent iLounge iPod nano review:
"nano Tubes are five-packs of silicone rubber cases, available in clear, blue, purple, green, and pink for $29. They protect the nano's entire body save its screen and bottom ports, even covering the Click Wheel and Hold switch with thin, easy to use rubber. They're not flashy, but for the price, they'll work. And they're a hell of a lot better than iPod Socks."
The answer is YES.

look back at your post, it says it protects the nano's entire body save its screen which means that no, it does not protect the screen
