If it has a line input built in, you're all set with the proper cable (stereo mini-to-stereo mini or stereo mini-to-dual RCA, depending on the connectors on the head unit).

Many factory HUs have CD changer ports and many don't. For those that do, PIE (http://www.pie.net/) and a few other companies make Auxiliary Input Adapters. Don't necessarily take their word for it if they say yours has a compatible changer port; pull the head unit out of the dash and verify it first before ordering unless you don't mind incurring a 15% restocking fee if it doesn't work.

If your HU doesn't have a line input or a CD changer port, you're pretty much stuck with having to get a new head unit that either has a line input, supports a line input with an adapter, or has an iPod interface (which works with 3G and later iPods, including the mini and nano).

This might fit the bill if your head unit doesn't have a CD changer port

But if you live in North America it isn't available there as the FM frequencies used are restricted in the US and Canada apparently
