Apple's sending me a new ipod [mini 4gb silver] because i broke my old one, and i don't want to re-add all of my songs like 1 by 1...how can i 'save' my library so that i won't have to add all of my songs again onto the ipod?

Also, when i get my new ipod, do i just connect it to my computer and the computer installs it for me? Or will i have to like, uninstall ipod/itunes and install it again using the cd they provide for me?

I basicly just need general help with this.
I'm a windows user. xp, mini 4gb

Welcome. Just update the iPod firmware using the updater. Explain what you mean by save your library?

Easy. If they are downloaded (ie Not purchased from iTunes) You can plug in your 'pod, register it, and click "file -> Update (put name of ipod here) Ipod.

Easy!
