Hard wire for 2005 Grand Prix???

I'm not sure where to look next. I have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix, base model, with the factory stereo, and no XM radio or CD changer. I have looked at mp3yourcar, the AUX-POD, and a few others and they say they do not work unless you have a CD changer or XM.

I'm getting suck of the crappy quality of FM transmitters, and wondering what my other options are.

I have a 2000 GP GT and asked this question over at www.clubgp.com some time ago. A link I got was http://www.clubgpstore.com/itemview.asp?itemid=92 but I'm not sure if it works with the '05 and I didn't pursue getting it in my car.

The adapter needs an open port in the back of the radio to plug into. If you do not have a port then the adapter is most likely not going to work. If you had the option of getting a cd changer or xm in the car then there should be a port that you can use.
