I have about 8000 mp3s I am trying to run MP3Gain on. I run track analysis at default 89 and get TONS of "Y"s If I go lower it gets worse. I have no applied anything yet, just done the analysis. So do the Ys mean my songs will be clipped? Does clipping mean chopped at the end?

I try to keep them at 192 Lame VBR. Also Will this effect the quality of my mp3s?

Oh and all of those Ys are under clipping. Few under clip(track) and none under clip(album)

Those Y's mean that the tracks clip, in their current state. It doesn't mean chopped at the end, but it means that the song is so loud that it's recorded past the volume threshold for MP3 (which causes distortion, whether or not you notice it).

Applying the Track Gain on your files should lower the volume so that they won't clip, and make the Y's disappear (which is the whole point of using MP3Gain; you're reducing the volume of your files to prevent clipping, and to get all your songs at about the same volume).

MP3Gain does not affect the sound quality of your MP3's (still dependent only on your encoder and bit rate), and the changes that MP3Gain makes are completely reversible.
