Hi guys,

I had the opportunity to buy some headphones whilst on holiday and after much research and testing I decided to get the PX200s. Reasons why I went for them included:

Compact-Use for travel and vital
Compact on head and comfortable
Sound was ok
Price was ok
Very good isolation which was vital

I was going to go for some earbud ones but I already have a pretty good set but id like to start protecting my ears now. I find earbuds really too direct up loud. Of course I could turn them down but you know how it is! haha

The guy in the shop also offered me the HD201s for half price so I got them. I bought these for my Dad and was amazed at their quality for the price. Bit big for transport though.

I tested the PX100s and found them to be of superioir sound than the PX200s to me. The isolation was terrible though so I had to leave them. I must admit im having trouble with the PX200s on the IPod. Generally these phones seem a bit 'murky' to me. Just they lack clarity. The treble boost eq setting improves some songs a bit. The positioning on your ears does also. I have also found that my ears feel blocked'like on an airplane' after listening for say 10mins. Odd really.

Does anyone have any tips for the PX200s and Ipod settings or even observations?

The sound quality was what that convince me to get the PX100 over the 200. Don't care about isolation. :D I have the HD201 too and it really impress for its price.

Normally people find the PX series' treble a bit recess so you might want to boost your treble output. But i prefer it flat across the band.
