Modified iPod sock to fit nano

Checkout my home modified ipod sock to give my nano a case so it won't get scratched

i for one.

i like to *use* my iPod naked, to so i can enjoy its look without a case. however when i move the iPod place to place i have to be able to protect. the soft nature of the iPod socks allow the device to both be protected from scratches AND are the EASIEST case to remove and reinsert the device into. Leather cases, rubber cases etc. all pose an issue if you want to remove and reinsert the iPod repeatedly... the sock works wonders.

that's actually pretty cool looking. not a big fan of the available colors, though (the grey is alright, but the other color...eh...). might have to guy buy a cheap pair of socks and bust out the sewing machine.

I have a sock also and it works fine without sewing it.

The problem I found with using the sock in it's stock form was that it got really stretched out making it very easy for the ipod to slip out of the sock while I am taking it out of my pocket causing it to fall on the floor or even just slip out while it is in my pocket and getting it all scratched up. They nano fits very snugly into the sock and the opening was sewed(sp?) even thinner so that it prevents it from slipping out of my pocket.

I believe the conjugation you are looking for is "sewn."

I machine washed my ipod socks in hot water and then the dryer and they shrunk enough to fit the nano without modifications.

paid $2 for a beanie at wal-mart and came up with this:
