Heres the story. I bought TriPorts and loved them. They broke, and i got them refunded. i dont want them again because now i want earbuds. I either want the e3c or e2c, i ruled out the etymotics out because i tried them and found them uncomfortable. I am NOT an audiophile! Keep That in mind!! Here is my criteria:

1) Comfort is most important. I want to barely notice these and for them to be VERY comfortable.

2) Sound Quality is also important. After playing around with Bass and Treble EQ's settings here is what i determined i want: a Strong middle, and not very Bright music. I like Bass but not when it over-powers the music. I listen to an eclectic mix of music, including : ray charles, DMB, coldplay, jack johnson, beatles, rolling stones, white stripes, eric clapton, Bruce Springsteen, etc.

Based on these, is it worth the extra $60 for me to get the e3c?? can anyone share their experiences? thanks A LOT for your help!

Shure e3c is famous for its strong mid, and it is smaller than shure e2c. Also, with Shure e3c, you have more sleeves option to choose from. You definitely can find one that fits you comfortablely

Therefore, $60 is definitely worth it. Go get a shure e3c.

Asking others if a pairs of phones are comfortable is meaningless. It's like shoes, what feels comfortable to them has nothing to do what feels comfortable to you.

Prepare to spend time on trying a few pairs, be patience, try them for a few days with different sized buds, b4 deciding they are not for you. Buy from somewhere with 30 days money back, no questions asked, no restocking fees.
