Nano shipments going fast No more till after Christmas

That the Nano is a new Revolution and a Hit of all hits, the initial shipments comminf from overseas are all Pre-Sold and if your not in Line you probably won't get one Til after Christmas

Basicaly if you don't have one by now you aint gonna find one

Well then apple will lose out on the christmas trade then wont they!

Those who have bought are not the xmas buyers..... so all those wanting for xmas will simply buy someone else's product!

Everybody said the same thing about the iPod shuffle, that there was going to be no more stock for months, etc. Yes, for the first week or two there was low supply.. but after that it seemed like it was fine.

I really doubt apple would miss out on the holiday season.. not to mention go three months without having a product in stock.

No way they run out this early for the rest of the year.

I do anticipate that Apple will eventually run into supply problems in December. But by then it will be a largely self-generating phenomenon, like a bank run.

Apple is banking on the nano in a big way, and will have the supply lined up. This is likely why there is no 6 GB model now, it will come next year after supply and demand are manageable.

You are incorrect. I am an Apple reseller and placed our order today. There will be supplies for the holiday.

Maybe he means that all orders for delivery to distributor's and larger retail chains before Christmas are gone?

That's somewhat believable... but still... that's stretching what the actual situation is I'm sure.

Yes, and if you watch the video release about Steve Jobs release for the nano, he says that WHOLE factories were made just for the production of the nano and there will be no problems in finding them for the holiday season.

i'm an apple authorized reseller, and i talked with our distributor (ingram micro) this morning

they have 15,000 of each model coming in to them on 9/24, from asia, guaranteed. these are not all pre-purchased (about 3-5000 of each model are still available... too bad you can only buy if you're a reseller!)

also, apples inventory is doing alright. their internal supply chain is showing no problems currently

your posts smell kinda fishy.

You post about a limited supply in CompUSA. Telling us when and where they'll arrive.

Then you say about limited supply.

This kinda smells like advertisement for compusa.

GET DOWN TO COMPUSA IF YOU REALLY WANT A NANO B4 XMAS.

but i don't think apple would be that stupid in planning to create a shortage so ppl would go buy creative and iriver this xmas over the nano.
