it shows the retail box in the pictures, why is it ugly compared to the other pictures of the nano?

Retail box? what about the pix of the nano and shuffle side-by-side? and the holding-by-finger pix?
Looks more gray that white to me. OK, it maybe lighting, but I've seen regular iPODs, and after 3 years the plastic casing don't look *that* cool to me.
