I am very seriously considering buying a nano but my only concern is how to get my music from my iPod to my car stereo.

Since the nano has no remote connector I am wondering if Griffin (or anyone else) will come out with a new iTrip for the nano.

It seems odd that the nano is replacing the mini yet won't have the ability for all the accessories that the mini did with the remote connector.

I suppose they could work something out with the dock connector.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Well you could use the Belkin fm transmitters.

The belkins work great, and they are only limited to the ipod.

I believe most transmitters besides the iTrip just use the headphone jack. I'm not 100% sure though.

There are also a lot of FM Transmitters that go throgh the lineout (the Dock Connector) which the nano most definitely has. I have the Monster one connecte dto my 3G, and it owns.

But we are assuming the nano dock connector is the same as the mini and regular ipods. This is not confirmed yet. Nickster exactly how is the belkin tuncast (which uses the headphone jack) limited to ipods??

The nano dock connector is the same as on the other iPods. It's just slightly off center. Since the nano does not include the "remote" port found on 3G and new iPods and iPod minis, any iTrip like devices would have to be recast to take advantage of the dock connecter. Transmitters that just use the headphone port will be unaffected.
