It has the shuffle, nano, mini, and photo ipod. It's not the right scale. So if it's four inches long on here it might be only 3 inches in real life. The comparison however is within .1 inch correct.

Does that mean if I got a Mini skin it would fit quite well?

I don't think it would fit very well. It's quite a bit wider. But if it's a strechey skin then it might work. But don't forget that the click wheel is different.
Just wait a month and get a skin designed for it

This poll is slanted. I won't vote.
You need to show the thicknesses as well, otherwise it doesn't do the nano justice.
My bad... I thought the voting was on the size of the nano. I didn't bother to read the poll after I saw the comparion chart.
*Hides.*
Eh, we know its really thin. Nice looking, and finally a big difference from the big iPod. And I give it extra credit for not having to be ugly white. While its still not a lot of space for the price, at least its flash so it'll be more rugged.

The new nano is awsome and I really like the fact that it is very small which increases it's portability, to me smaller is better, except for storage space however. Even the 20GB Ipod I had wasn't enough storage space for me and I'm wondering if even the 30GB Ipod would be enough, although I've been having a hard time finding one.
When are they going to downsize the larger capacity Ipod's?

Here are some awsome real life photos that really bring out how small this thing is. It's smaller then a buisness card.

What about compare the size of the screen (viewing area)? and pixel resolutions? I find the mini screen is already a bit tinny to read.

The ipod nano is 176 x 132 pixel resolution, .168-mm dot pitch
The ipod mini is 138x110 Pixels
And since the nano has a smaller screen it's even better quality because they would have to make the pixels smaller to fit into a smaller screen. And that would make the sharpness and quality of the screen go up.
